In the Florida School Report's Best Practices Study, school
principals (and teachers) in High Performing Schools consistently
used the "Three Ds": Data, Decision Making, Design.
These individuals were also engaged in a number of leadership
activities to build knowledge, including assessment and sharing
the current reality, goal setting, developing a faculty learning
culture, encouraging brain-based teaching and learning, engaging
faculty in action research, and designing and assessing professional
learning activities.
